The Albert Group Architects has offered a first look at a proposed eldercare facility in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood.
The proposed development, submitted in late 2019 to the City of Los Angeles for consideration, calls for razing a 12-unit apartment building at 843-847 S. Sherbourne Drive to make way for a seven-story building containing 56 assisted living and dementia care units.
Renderings depict a contemporary mid-rise structure which greets Sherbourne Drive with a rooftop deck.
A timeline for the project has not been announced.
A similar eldercare facility is in the works less than two miles west at 1122-1136 S. Roxbury Drive.
