Soil remediation is now underway at a former Teledyne Technologies facility in Del Rey, marking the first step towards the construction of a new creative office complex on the property.

Continental Development Corporation and Mar Ventures, Inc. have teamed up to build the Alla Road Creative Campus, which would rise from the six-acre site near the western terminus of the Marina Freeway.

The project, designed by architecture firm Gensler, would consist of three two-story structures featuring over 150,000 square feet of office space, in addition to parking for up to 600 vehicles in a standalone garage and a surface lot.  The campus would also feature a central one-acre green space.

Heavy construction could commence following the completion of soil remediation, although an exact timeline for the process has not been revealed.

Continental Development and Mar Ventures have embarked on similar projects throughout the Westside and the Bay Cities, including a 210,000-square-foot campus in El Segundo.
