Another set of nondescript industrial buildings in Warner Center is set to make way for a large multifamily residential development.

The latest project, filed yesterday with the City of Los Angeles, would encompass a nearly 3.3-acre property at 21001 W. Kittridge Street.  Plans call for razing two existing structures and a surface parking lot to allow for the construction of a five-story, 310,490-square-foot edifice featuring 275 residential units and 418 parking spaces.  The proposed development would also feature amenities such as a pool and spa area, a fitness center, courtyards, and a clubroom.

Additional details about the project are currently unclear.

The development site is located roughly one block north of 6606 N. Variel Avenue, where Evolution Strategic Partners is in the midst of construction for a similar development consisting of a seven-story building with 271 apartments.  That project is scheduled to open in 2019.
