Construction is underway for a multifamily residential development on the border between Los Angeles and Beverly Hills.

The project, which replaces a pair of six-unit apartment buildings at 105 S. Doheny Drive, will consist of a five-story edifice featuring 35 dwelling units, 3,660 square feet of open space and a semi-subterranean parking garage.

A rendering of the completed project, which is designed by The Albert Group Architects, portrays a contemporary mid-rise structure wrapped with balconies.

City records link the project to Duke Development, a Los Angeles-based real estate and development firm.

The project site sits directly across the street from the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles, and one block west of a 12-story luxury condominium tower that is now under construction.
