A new multifamily residential development is now rising on the outskirts of Westwood and Century City.
The project, located at 10534 W. Santa Monica Boulevard, consists of a five-story building that will feature 37 apartments - including three very-low-income units - above three levels of basement parking for 45 vehicles.
The podium-type structure is being designed by Warren Techentin Architecture. A rendering shows a contemporary low-rise building.
Approved plans link the project to the Sabet Management Corp.
A few blocks west of the project site, a vacant lot at the intersection of Santa Monica and Beverly Glen Boulevard is poised for the construction of a similar development.
