A mixed-use development from local real estate investment firm Wiseman Residential is fully framed just west of the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and La Brea Avenue.
The five-story building, located at the southeast corner of Sunset and Detroit Street, will feature 60 residential units - including seven affordable units - above approximately 3,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and parking for 125 vehicles.
Uriu & Associates designed the low-rise structure, which will include amenities such as a central courtyard and a rooftop deck. Plans call for an exterior of smooth trowel stucco.
Completion is expected in 2020.
Wiseman has numerous mixed-use and multifamily residential developments under construction throughout Los Angeles, including a similar housing complex at the corner of Western and Fountain Avenues.
