A 1960s apartment building in the Valley Glen neighborhood has made way for a larger multifamily residential development.

The property, located at 5020 N. Woodman Avenue, was previously improved with a three-story edifice featuring 18 residential units.  Plans approved earlier this year by the City of Los Angeles will permit the construction of a four-story structure containing 51 residential units above one level of subterranean parking.

City records indicate the project is being designed by Bardovi Architects and built by BVC Development Corp.

Assessor's records indicate the owner of the property is an entity affiliated with Los Angeles-based real estate investor Avi Rojany.
