Materials posted by the Mid City West Community Council offer up new renderings of a multifamily residential development planned in Beverly Grove.

The proposed development, slated for a site at 731-735 N. Fairfax Avenue, would replace a 1930s structure with a five-story building containing 43 apartments - including four extremely low-income affordable units.

Plus Architects is designing the contemporary low-rise structure, which would include 40 parking stalls.  Architectural plans show a small rooftop deck overlooking Fairfax Avenue.

The project employs Transit Oriented Communities incentives, which allow for increased height and density in projects that generate subsidized affordable housing.

A timeline for the proposed development has not been announced.
