The website of architecture firm MVE & Partners has revealed new renderings for a luxury apartment tower planned by Grove developer Rick Caruso.
The $155 million project, slated for a triangular site at 333 S. La Cienega Boulevard, would consist of a 19-story structure featuring 154 residential units, 3,500 square feet of restaurant space and a 26,000-square-foot grocery store. According to the Los Angeles Times, the building would include one- and two-bedroom apartments with private balconies, high ceilings and luxury finishes.
Designed in collaboration by MVE & Partners and Hetzel Design, the proposed 240-foot tower would include communal amenities such as a sky deck, a swimming pool, a fitness center and a spa. Additionally, plans call for ample public space at street level, including a large fountain at the confluence of La Cienega Boulevard and Burton Way.
Caruso was bullish about the tower's prospects in a recent interview with Bisnow, noting that his prior development across the street at 8500 Burton Way has had a waiting list since opening. 333 La Cienega, like 8500 Burton Way, would offer a hotel-like concierge service to residents.
Construction of the proposed tower is tentatively scheduled for 2017.
