A new permanent supportive housing development from SRO Housing Corp. is ready for tenants in Westlake.

The Hartford Villa Apartments, located at 459 S. Hartford Avenue, consists of a seven-story edifice which features 101 studio and one-bedroom apartments in addition to on-site supportive services. The new housing reserved for chronically homeless veterans and low-income individuals making 50 percent or less than the area median income, according to a landing page on the SRO Housing website.

KFA Architecture designed the Spanish Colonial Revival-style building, which includes a community kitchen, a lounge, and a computer room.
