Six months after we last dropped by, SRO Housing Corp.'s Hartford Villa development is topped out in Westlake.

The project, located at 459 S. Hartford Avenue, consists of a seven-story edifice which will feature 100 affordable units of permanent supportive housing and one manager's apartment upon completion.
According to a landing page on the SRO Housing website, the apartments will be reserved for chronically homeless veterans and low-income individuals making 50 percent or less than the area median income.
KFA Architecture is designing the Spanish Colonial Revival-style building, which will incorporate community kitchen, a lounge, a computer room, and on-site supportive services.
