Harridge Development Group has unveiled updated renderings for Crossroads Hollywood, showcasing design alterations to accommodate the preservation of the Hollywood Reporter Building on Sunset Boulevard.

The project, which would occupy four blocks near the intersection of Sunset and Highland Avenue, calls for a nearly 1.4-million-square-foot development consisting of 950 residential units - including 105 for very-low-income households - with 190,000 square feet of commercial uses, and a 308-room hotel.

The revised plan no longer calls for realigning Las Palmas Avenue - allowing for the preservation of the now-landmarked Hollywood Reporter Building - and also increases the total amount of on-site affordable housing from 84 units to 105 units.  Other changes from the earlier iteration of the proposal include the addition of a new parking structure and a slight reduction in the overall square footage of the project by 51,500 square feet.

SOM and Rios Clementi Hale Studios are designing the Crossroads development, which would feature high-rise buildings of 32, 30, and 26 stories in height, arranged around multiple interior walkways.  This includes the activation and opening of the historic Crossroads of the World property, for which the project is named.

Construction is set to occur over a period of approximately 48 months, although a groundbreaking date has not been set for the Crossroads development.
