A September 19 ceremony in Inglewood showcased the debut of the Shops at Hollywood Park, the retail core of the nearly 300-acre development centered on SoFi Stadium.
The first phase of the retail project, which sits near the intersection of Prairie Avenue and Century Boulevard, includes space for 390,000 square feet of shops and restaurants. Announced tenants include the Cinépolis theater chain, Iconix Fitness, experiential venue Cosm, JD Sports, and Residency Arts Gallery. Additionally, Google's Code Next Lab is slated to open its first Southern California location at the property next year.
Kennedy Wilson Brokerage, which is leasing the retail space, has also announced three new tenants scheduled to debut between Fall 2024 and early 2025:
- Martin's Cocina y Cantina, which will open its second location at Hollywood Park early next year;
- Phenix Salon Suites, also slated to open in early 2025; and
- The Meeting Spot, an open-air food-and-beverage venue which is opening this Fall.
On a temporary basis, the Cinevita is scheduled to debut in December and remain through April 2025. Planned by For The Record, it is described as an immersive experience which brings iconic films to life within a roughly 15,000-square-foot space.
Hollywood Park, billed as the largest mixed-use development underway on the West Coast, will eventually feature as many as 2,500 total homes, a 300-room hotel, approximately 890,000 square feet of retail space, and offices.
The complex is now the home of the NFL Network, NFL.com, the NFL app, and NFL Redzone, which have leased 290,000 square feet of office space in buildings to the north.
The apartments sit a short walk north of the new arena and entertainment complex which will house the L.A. Clippers across Century Boulevard. The City of Inglewood, in the hope of connecting the new sporting venues with rail transit, is also pursuing the construction of a 1.6-mile automated people mover system which would run between the K Line and Hollywood Park.
