A mixed-use development is underway in the City of San Gabriel that will bring a new hotel and condominiums to a property that most recently served as a Norms Restaurant.

The project site, located at the northwest corner of Valley Boulevard and Del Mar Avenue, is being transformed into a six-story building that will feature a 222-key Hyatt Place hotel, 87 residential condominiums and 55,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space above two levels of basement parking.  As of late 2017, construction is now peering above ground.

A leasing brochure posted to LoopNet portrays a contemporary mid-rise structure, wrapping around a podium-level pool deck.

The project's completion date is listed as 2018.
