In our last check in five months ago, Ivy Station was just a few stories above ground-level. Now, the $300-million mixed-use campus is topped out.
The Culver City Station-adjacent project is being led by developer Lowe Enterprises, in partnership with AECOM-Canyon Partners and Rockwood Capital. Three mid-rise buildings will feature 200 apartments, a 148-room hotel, and 240,000 square feet of office space - which has been entirely leased by HBO. There is also 50,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space on the ground-floor and two acres of outdoor gathering space.
Ivy Station's design team includes KFA Architecture, EYRC Architects, Cuningham Group and RELM Studio. In addition to the three structures, the five-acre property will also feature pedestrian walkways, gathering space for programs and events, and a 2,900 square foot transit plaza for Metro, bus, and bicycle riders.
Completion is anticipated in mid-2020, with HBO scheduled to take occupancy in early 2021. Directly across the street, Apple will be moving its new production arm into a four-story office building currently under construction at 8777 Washington Boulevard.
