Prolific developer Jamison Services, Inc. has completed vertical construction at two mixed-use projects in Koreatown.
The first development, located at the intersection of 8th and Berendo Streets, consists of a seven-story building featuring 98 residential units above 3,500 square feet of ground-floor retail and a parking garage.
The podium-type building, designed by architect Daryoush Safai, features two wings wrapping a second-story courtyard.
The second project, located at the intersection of 8th Street and Harvard Boulevard, is a six-story building which will contain 131 residential units - with 11 set aside as very low-income affordable housing - and 7,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
Designed by Large Architecture, the building will feature a modern exterior and finishes such as plaster and porcelain tile.
Jamison Services is also seeking entitlements for a similar six-story, 157-unit complex at the intersection of 8th Street and Serrano Avenue.
