A tower crane is now in place at Los Robles Avenue and Green Street in Pasadena, as construction goes vertical for the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine.
The school, previously set to open Fall 2019, will inhabit a four-story facility featuring a roof deck and basement parking.
Initial enrollment will be a class of 48 students, with a gradual expansion to 192 students by 2022.
The medical school sits catacorner to a new Hyatt Place hotel now under construction at Paseo Colorado.
