Los Angeles-based developer CIM Group continues to move forward with plans for a mixed-use development in West Los Angeles, with the release of the project's initial study.
According to the environmental report, the project at 11752 W. Santa Monica Boulevard would consist of a five-story building featuring 154 residential units above approximately 15,000 square feet of commercial and an underground parking garage. This represents a slight decrease from CIM's original plan for the for the property, which had called for a larger 187-unit building.
A site plan published with the initial study shows that the podium-type building is being designed by LOHA, a Los Angeles-based architecture firm.
This is the second collaboration between CIM and LOHA in West Los Angeles, following a similar five-story development now rising across the street at 11800 W. Santa Monica Boulevard.
Both properties previously operated as automobile dealerships.
