Over one year after we last dropped by, Amidi Group's mixed-use apartment complex is topped out in City West.
The project, located at 1027 Wilshire Boulevard, is billed as the second phase of the TenTen Wilshire development - an adaptive reuse project completed more than a decade ago. The nine-story edifice now under construction will feature 376 live/work apartments in addition to ground-floor retail and a basement parking garage.
Designed by Bijan & Associates, the project is depicted in renderings with a contemporary look. Plans call for a variety of on-site amenities, including a fitness center, a theater, and a rooftop deck.
Completion is expected sometime in 2020.
Amidi Group is also behind plans for another ground-up development a block south at 1018 Ingraham Street - an eight-story apartment complex with ground-floor retail.
The 1027 Wilshire project follows several recent residential developments in City West, including Holland Partner Group's Sofia development a block west at Bixel Street.
