A proposal to construct a mixed-use complex just off of Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood is moving forward, per the agenda of this month's meeting of CRA/LA.

The proposed development, slated for a property at 11436 W. Hatteras Street, calls for the construction of a four-story building featuring 31 apartments - including two units with mobility access features and one unit with hearing and vision accessibility features.  The low-rise structure would also incorporate 1,500 square feet of retail space at its ground level.\

A rendering included with the presentation portrays a contemporary low-rise structure.

The project is being developed by Napa Industries, a local entity that is also behind plans for a 19-story apartment tower in Palms.

CRA/LA approval is required for the project due to its location in the North Hollywood Redevelopment Project area, as well as its request to construct residential uses on a commercially-designated site.
