Local developer Micropolitan is in the midst of construction on a multifamily residential development in the Fairfax district.

The Micropolitan at Fairfax Village, located at 639 N. Fairfax Avenue, will consist of a five-story building featuring 63 apartments and amenities such as a fitness center.  The building will offer six units of very low income housing in exchange for density bonus incentives.

Santa Monica-based Killefer Flammang Architects is designing the apartments, which are portrayed as a contemporary low-rise building, similar to other collaborations with Micropolitan.

A completion date for the project is unclear.
