In Inglewood, vertical construction is complete for a new mixed-use apartment complex from Texas-based developer JPI just south of the K Line.

The Jefferson Inglewood development, which replaced a car wash at 939 W. Manchester Boulevard, consists of an eight-story building that will feature 222 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments with 3,500 square feet of retail space and a three-level parking garage.

Project approvals will require that 11 apartments be set aside for rent as affordable housing.

TCA Architects is designing the contemporary podium-type building, which will include a pool, a clubroom, a fitness center, and a rooftop deck.
