In Bellflower, wood framing is complete, and exterior finishes are now taking shape at a new mixed-use apartment complex from Serrano Development Group.

Edgeway Downtown Bellflower, located just south of a future West Sana Ana Branch station at 16411 Bellflower Boulevard and 9735 Oak Street, consists of a five-story building which will feature 91 one-, and two-bedroom apartments above an enclosed ground-level parking garage.

WHA is designing the apartment complex, which is composed of wood framing, and is clad in a mixture of stucco and brick facade. The project, besides housing, will also include amenities such as a swimming pool and spa, a fitness center, a business center, and a club room.

Although currently unbuilt, Edgeway is also set to include a commercial component - a 14,000-squarefoot commercial building fronting Bellflower Boulevard, which will be subdivided to provide space for shops and restaurants. the complex had previously been slated to incorporate a four-screen theater with seating for up to 278 attendees.

Construction of Edgeway is anticipated to occur in late 2024, Serrano announced at the time of the project's groundbreaking in October 2021.
