A notice from the City of Monterey Park reveals plans to at the southeast corner of Atlantic Boulevard and Garvey Avenue.

Deerfield Center - which would rise from land located at 740-760 and 780 W. Garvey Avenue and 220 S. Atlantic Boulevard - would rise on land currently developed with a retail complex.

Property records list the owner of the site at ACEM, LLC, an entity affiliated with Pasadena-based Tecton Group. According to a landing page on the company's website, the project is to include a five-story building featuring 369 residential units above 20,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a single level of subterranean parking.

Per a flyer announcing the project, Carrier Johnson + Culture is designing the mixed-use complex.

ACEM, LLC, the entity listed as property owner, is also attached to plans for a seven-story, 74-unit multifamily residential development in its hometown of Pasadena.
