A proposed mixed-use development could bring multifamily residential units, commercial space and a hotel to Downtown's booming Arts District.

The project, which was filed earlier today with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning, is slated for an approximatley one-acre site fronting 5th, Colyton and Seaton Streets.

Additional details, including the total number of planned units and hotel rooms, are currently unclear.

The property sits one block west of the new Arts District park, which opened earlier this month at 5th and Hewitt Streets.

Two similar developments are also slated for the city block located directly south across 5th Street.
