A blighted lot near the North Hollywood terminus of Metro's Red and Orange Lines may soon birth a multi-family residential development.
Yesterday, plans were filed with the City of Los Angeles for a new apartment complex at 11011 West Ostego Street. The 1.2-acre property - bounded by Vineland Place, Ostego and Hartsook Streets - would be developed with an approximately 60-foot tall structure featuring 144 apartment units.
According to the filing from applicant Stephen Samuel, the proposed building would offer an array of residential amenities, including an interior courtyard, a recreation room, a social room, a gymnasium and a two-level subterranean parking garage with accommodations for up to 225 vehicles.
Further details about the project are unclear at this point in time.
The development site is situated one block east of Lankershim Boulevard, where Hayes Capital Management plans a large mixed-use complex.
