Earlier this month, the Santa Monica Architectural Review Board took a look at the Colorado & Euclid development, a proposed mixed-use office building near the Expo Line's 17th Stree/Santa Monica Station.
Slated for the northwest corner of Colorado Avenue and Euclid Street, the propsoed development would replace a surface parking lot and a small building with a three-story edifice featuring 30,000 square feet of commercial office space atop 4,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial uses. Parking for up to 92 vehicles would be located in three basement levels.
Santa Monica-based Belzberg Architects is designing the low-rise development, which will feature two wings wrapping around an elevated courtyard. Renderings portray floor-to-ceiling glass windows across the building.
A past environmental report has suggested a construction start date in 2018, and completion in 2019.
