While prominent developments have reshaped iconic Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards, smaller infill projects have added new residential stock along Hollywood's side streets.

A half-block south of Emerson College's striking Los Angeles campus, a four-story, 21-unit development is now fully framed at 1439 N. Tamarind Avenue.  Crews are now working on the low-rise structure's exterior finishes.

On the opposite side of the block, at 1338 N. Gordon Street, excavation is now complete for larger four-story building that will feature 44 residential units..

A completion date is unclear for both developments.

North of Sunset Boulevard, a similar development by Evolution Strategic Partners is on pace for completion in late 2017.
