Nine months after we last stopped by, construction is complete for some of the first homes at two new developments by D.R. Horton in El Segundo, and sales have now commenced.
Waypointe and Pacific Landing, located at 540 E. Imperial Avenue, are built on land formerly owned by the El Segundo School District. A full buildout of the projects will create 58 new residences - a rarity in El Segundo.
Waypointe, consisting of 34 two- and three-bedroom townhome units, are portrayed as modern low-rise structures featuring two-car garages and roof decks. According to a project website, sales prices range between approximately $899,000 and $1.17 million.
Pacific Landing, which consists of 24 four-bedroom homes priced starting at $1.69 million.
