Plans to construct a high-rise hotel at 100 East Ocean Boulevard in Long Beach have gone through major revisions, per a report from Longbeachize.
The proposed tower is now envisioned as a 36-story edifice, substantially taller than the 25-story building presented last year. At that time, it was reported that developer American Life, LLC was planning for 427 guest rooms, 19,000 square feet of conference space and 8,000 square feet of shops and restaurants within the project.
The new renderings, which come from landscape architecture firm RELM Studio, portray a contemporary high-rise building opening up onto a pedestrian promenade. Amenity decks are seen at the tower's podium and roof levels.
A timeline for the project remains unclear.
