Construction is underway for a new office building at 926 N. Sycamore Avenue in Hollywood, according to a listing on LoopNet.

The project, designed by Abramson Teiger Architects, is a four-story expansion of an existing warehouse built in the 1950s.  The new construction will result in approximately 24,000 square feet of combined office and ground-floor commercial space.

Renderings portray a contemporary building with upper floors wrapped in articulated black panels.  An approximately 700-square-foot retail stall is positioned at the south side of the property's street frontage, while tuck-under parking is situated to the north.

Delivery is expected in 2018.

A pair of similar office buildings are also under construction a half-block north at Romaine Street.
