A new development of townhome-style condos is taking shape on a narrow property in Del Rey.
Located the project features 12 residential units in addition to landscaped open space. Each of the three-story buildings will offer three-to-four bedroom floor plans between 2,089 and 2,507 square feet in size. Plans also call for two-car garages.
Renderings prestented to the Del Rey Neighborhood Council in 2017 portray a series of boxy, contemporary condos. The designs came from L.A. Group, a local landscape architecture firm.
The development site had been vacant since 2013, when it ceased operations as a commercial nursery.
Just up the street, construction is now underway for an apartment building with ground-floor retail at 11612 Culver Boulevard. Also nearby on Slauson Boulevard, work is wrapping up for another multifamily residential complex called the Treehouse lofts.
