Killefer Flammang Architects has announced that a topping off ceremony was recently held for Next on Sixth, Century West Partners' latest mixed-use development in Koreatown.
Located at the corner of 6th Street and Virgil Avenue, the seven-story complex will feature 398 residential units, a parking garage and approximately 20,000 square feet of street-fronting commercial space. National retailer Target has leased the entirety of the building's ground floor.
Spanning approximately 1.8 acres, Next on Sixth will offer a mixture of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, as well as amenities such as a swimming pool, four roof decks, a yoga room, and a two-story gym. Additionally, the entire building will be equipped with built-in ceiling speakers, track lighting, spacious patious and private balconies.
Next on Sixth is Century West's second major development in Koreatown, following K2LA. The subsidiary of Chicago's Fifield Companies is also building a similar project in Glendale.
