A half-mile west of Van Nuys Airport, construction is underway for a new development of single-family homes.

The project, called Sophie Court, is located on a nearly one-acre property at 17210 Roscoe Boulevard.  Plans call for nine single-family dwellings in a mix of four- and five-bedroom floor plans.

Each of the contemporary homes will include tankless water heaters, drought-tolerant landscape, and two-car garages.

Pre-sales begin this month.

Sophie Court is being developed by RC Homes, a local homebuilder which has recently completed similar developments in Hollywood and Silver Lake.
