Los Angeles-based 4Site Real Estate has begun construction on a new set of small-lot houses in Lincoln Heights.

The project site, a long-vacant 25,000-square-foot lot at 2844 N. Griffin Avenue, is slated for the construction of nine single-family residences arranged around a common driveway.

Tighe Architecture is designing the houses, which are arranged in a "terraced scheme solution," and will feature gabled roofs.

The Griffin small lot houses join another residential project from Tighe and 4Site that is already under construction in Echo Park.
