A new proposal has emerged to construct a nine-story hotel near the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard, reports WEHOVille.
The project, which would replace an auto body repair shop at 1040 N. La Brea Avenue, calls for the construction of a nine-story building that would feature 91 guest rooms and eight apartments above ground-floor commercial space. Other proposed elements of the development include a rooftop lounge and swimming pool.
Renderings of the hotel, which is being designed by Culver City-based NMDA, portray a sleek mid-rise structure. Early reviews of the design have been mostly positive, according to WEHOVille.
Property records link the project to RPM Investments, although the exact identity of the developer is uncertain.
