A single-family home in North Hills which dates to the late 1930s may be destined for the wrecking ball.
Earlier this month, property owner Asaf Glazer submitted an application to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning seeking to redevelop a roughly half-acre site at 8327 N. Burnet Avenue with nine single-family dwellings via the small lot subdivision ordinance.
GA Engineering is designing the houses, which are depicted in architectural plans as contemporary three-story structures, each features three bedrooms, a two-car garage, and a rooftop deck.
City records indicate the Glazer acquired the land in early 2019.
The project site sits two blocks east of a busy stretch of Sepulveda Boulevard where multiple affordable and supportive housing developments are either planned or currently under construction.
