Three years after starting construction, framing is largely complete for a mixed-use apartment building just east of Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood.
The project, located at 11436 W. Hatteras Street, consists of a five-story structure featuring 28 two-bedroom apartments above 450 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Parking for the residential and commercial tenants will be located in a podium garage.
Renderings of the project presented to the CRA/LA Governing Board in 2018 depict the finished product as a contemporary low-rise structure with a stucco exterior, cantilevered rail balconies, and stone veneer at street level.
At the time of the project's groundbreaking, it was being built as a joint venture between FMB Development and Build 4 You on the project.
Los Angeles County Assessor's records now indicate that the project is owned by ____.
A similar apartment complex is also under construction on a neighboring site facing Tujunga Avenue.
