The Richman Group, a Connecticut-based real estate investment firm, continues to move forward with plans to develop a residential-retail complex above Metro's North Hollywood Station.
Chandler NoHo, slated for a .82-acre property at the corner of Lankershim and Chandler Boulevards, would entail the demolition of a single-story commercial building, followed by the construction of a seven-story edifice featuring 127 residential units above 13,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Plans also call for amenities such as lounge spaces, a fitness center and a pool deck.
Elevation plans drafted by Santa Barbara-based DesignARC depict a modern structure built with a mixture of concrete, metal screens, plaster and custom mural panels.
Construction of Chandler NoHo is expected to occur over approximatley 21 months, beginning in early 2018 and finishing in late 2019.
Richman joins a handful of developers planning large developments around North Hollywood Station, including Greystar Real Estate Partners, Trammell Crow Company and Greenland USA.
