A handful of 1940s industrial buildings near the Santa Monica DMV are being repurposed as part of a larger creative office campus.
The approximately two-acre project site, located at 2041-2115 Colorado Avenue, will consist of four buildings - some of which date back to the mid-1940s. At the completion of construction, the property will offer nearly 75,000 square feet of rentable space - of which 38,000 square feet is currently unoccupied.
RAC Design Build is designing the project, which is adding a landscaped courtyard at the center of the property. Plans also call for parking for 172 vehicles.
Completion of the 2041-2115 Colorado development is expected later this year.
