With a year of construction now behind it, the rebar pillars of the $300-million Ivy Station development are now visible above ground in Culver City.

The project from Lowe Enterprises, located on the former Culver City Station park-and-ride lot at Washington and National Boulevards, will consist of three mid-rise structures containing 200 apartments, a 148-room hotel, 210,000 square feet of offices, and 36,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space.

Cuningham Group, EYRC Architects, KFA Architecture, and RELM Studio compose the Ivy Station design team.  Renderings show a mix of modern five- and six-story buildings, oriented around a central one-acre green space.

Construction of the mixed-use project is anticipated in 2019.

Ivy Station is joined by a 128,000-square-foot office building also under construction across the street at 8777 Washington Boulevard, and a proposed 234-unit apartment complex at 8700-8750 Washington.
