Just over six months after we last checked in, exterior finishes are now taking shape at a new condominium complex at the intersection of Del Mar Boulevard and Los Robles Avenue in Pasadena.
The project, which is being built by developer Fortune Time USA and construction firm Giantech, consists of a four-story structure which will feature 55 one-, two-, and three-bedroom dwellings. Per a project website, the mix of floor plans would include one-story flats, as well as two- and three-story homes.
Renderings of the finished project depict a low-rise building clad in white stucco and lined with cantilevered glass and rail balconies. Plans call for on-site amenities including a swimming pool, a fitness center, and a series of landscaped courtyards.
Completion of the project, which is called The Del Mar, is on pace to occur later this year. The condominium complex began construction in 2018.
The Del Mar is located on the same block as 388, a 1980s office building-turned-condominium complex which opened its first phase in 2019. A second phase of the project, which will transform an adjacent parking garage into housing, is now under construction.
Between the two properties, a third housing project is slated to replace an office building at 235 S. Los Robles Avenue.
