Lennar Corporation has reached street level at the Oceanaire development, a multifamily residential complex in Downtown Long Beach.

The seven-story building, designed by Togawa Smith Martin, will feature 216 rental apartments with amenities such as a pool terrace, a clubhouse and a gym.  Plans call for a mixture of one-, two- and three-bedroom dwellings.

Renderings portray a contemporary mid-rise structure which fronts Ocean Boulevard with a multipurpose green space.

Earlier reports point to ac ompletion date in 2020.
