A collection of small commercial buildings in North Hollywood are set to make way for a mixed-use development.
Last week, plans were filed with the City of Los Angeles to construct a five-story building at 7401 N. Lankershim Boulevard through the City's Transit Oriented Communities Program. The project would feature 108 residential units - including nine for extremely-low-income households - above ground-floor commercial space and basement parking.
The nearly one-acre development site is located in a Tier 1 incentive area, applicant 7401 Lankershim Venture, LLC is requesting a 35 percent density increase, an 11-foot height increase, and an averaging of floor area ratio across the property.
Additional details about the project are currently unclear.
