Nearly two years after breaking ground in Warner Center, construction is in full swing for Q East and Q West, a pair mixed-use apartment buildings that are being developed by California Home Builders.
Q East, located at the northeast corner of Variel Avenue and Erwin Street, stands seven stories in height. At completion, the complex will offer 241 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments atop a two-level podium featuring 279 parking stalls and approximately 50,000 square feet of commercial space.
The building is designed by Newman Garrison + Partners, and will include a large amenity deck overlooking the corner of Variel and Erwin.
Completion of Q East is anticipated in Spring 2020.
Q East's sister development, Q West, is now rising across the street from the Village at Westfield Topanga mall at 6363 N. Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
The seven-story structure, which is also designed by Newman Garrison + Partners, will feature 347 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments above roughly 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and a two-level, 656-car subterranean parking garage.
Completion of Q West is expected in Summer 2021.
California Home Builders and Newman Garrison have three additional residential-retail developments planned in Warner Center, to be located at 21300 Califa Street, 6140 Variel Avenue, and 6109 De Soto Avenue.
