Shared workspace group Real Office Centers (ROC) has signed a 15-year lease for approximately 27,000 square feet of space at ROW DTLA, an adaptive reuse project on the outskirts of the Arts District.
The 30-acre property, originally built by the Southern Pacific Railroad, is being converted by New York-based real estate firm Atlas Capital Group into a two-million-square-foot creative campus featuring offices, green space, stores and restaurants. The complex is already home to the fashion brands Splendid and Ella Moss.
In addition to approximately 1.3-million square feet of office space, Atlas Capital is now in the process of adding internal streets to the property that will be lined by nearly 100 retailers, 15 restaurants and several art galleries. Atlas has already added a 4,000-car parking garage on the campus, which also features a rooftop park.
ROW recently welcomed Smorgasburg, the Brooklyn-based Sunday market for food, vintage goods and crafts.
The new office for ROC is their first in Downtown Los Angeles, following earlier locations in Santa Monica, San Diego, Orange County and Honolulu.
