Construction is complete for the new AC Hotel at the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and La Jolla Avenue in Beverly Grove. 

The 176-room hotel, called the AC Hotel Beverly Hills, is located within the shell of an 11-story office building constructed in the early 1950s.  In its new form, the mid-rise structure is capped by two rooftop amenity decks, including a wading pool facing toward Wilshire Boulevard.

The hotel was built by R.D. Olson Construction on behalf of property owner Candleberry Properties.

At the opposite corner of Wilshire and La Jolla, a 15-story apartment tower is proposed for a currently-vacant lot.

AC Hotels, a subsidiary of Marriott International, also has new locations planned in El Segundo and Burbank.
