Just east of the intersection of Pico Boulevard and Western Avenue, construction is now complete for Decolage at Pico, a mixed-use apartment building from Index Real Estate Investments.

The project, which fronts both Pico Boulevard and 12th Place, consists of a six-story building containing 51 one- and two-bedroom apartments and 3,350 square feet of ground-floor retail space above a subterranean parking garage.

A leasing website advertises a mix of 708 and 987-square-foot floor plans.

Ketter Group designed the apartment complex, which omits the wood paneling depicted in renderings in favor of a fully stucco exterior.  The podium-type building includes a central courtyard in addition to other open space amenities.

Completion of the development was originally anticipated in the third quarter of 2019.

IREI and Ketter Construction are also behind plans for a similar mixed-use project in Van Nuys consisting of 174 apartments and retail space.
