Renderings have emerged for new medical office building proposed in the Pico Union neighborhood.

City West Medical, slated for a property at 1127 W. Washington Boulevard, would consist of a three-story building featuring 48,000 square feet of medical office space and an attached parking garage.  Plans also call for a rooftop deck offerings skyline views.

The project, which comes from Robhana Group, is considered the second component of a new medical hub on the fringe of Downtown Los Angeles.  Construction is already underway for a similar 60,000-square-foot building across the street, will open fully leased to Healthcare Partners.

According to an official website, construction of City West Medical is expected to begin in 2018.
