At its meeting tonight, the Echo Park Neighborhood Council's Planning and Land Use Committee to take its first look at a pair of multifamily residential developments slated for Sunset Boulevard.
The first, located at 1251 Sunset Boulevard, would replace a 1920s bungalow court with a seven-story building featuring 70 apartments - including seven deed-restricted affordable units - and 38 parking spaces in a two-level podium.
Architectural plans list the project's designed as Farzin Maly, and its developer and property owner as Michael Aminpour.
The second project, located just north at 1275 Sunset Boulevard, would consist of an eight-story structure containing 77 residential units - with another seven units of deed-restricted affordable housing - and a three-level podium containing 63 parking stalls.
The proposed development, which is called Sunset Reflection, would replace a small commercial building.
Property records list the owner of 1275 Sunset as David Joseph Simhaee.
